The Theory
Learning should be fun. Even learning about oral communication and public speaking.
Learning should be hands-on, interactive and experiential; its best when you get a chance to try out something, experiment and then improve (with revision).

The Practice
Workshops are a great way to do this. A relaxed constructive environment, with friends or colleagues, or even total strangers, who are all looking to improve in the same area. Challenge yourself to try something new, by stepping out of your comfort zone. You'll have fun, learn and hopefully improve some aspect of your public speaking skills in the process.
